BREAKING NEWS!! Brass Beats Collective have launched a ‘Beer Band Series’ album of Bavarian-style, ‘Oompah’ music, and are now available to be booked for Oktoberfest events / themed parties. They offer 3 x 30 minute sets of music… 2 sets traditional Bavarian-style ‘Oompah’ music, with some songs/ actions and games for the crowd to join in with, (all compared in a rather dodgy German accent!), and a 3rd set of well-known pop arrangements, including Neil Diamond, MC Hammer, Daft Punk, Body Rockers, Madness, Jennifer Lopez, Dizzie Rascal, and more!

BAND BIOGRAPHY
Brass Beats Collective is a network of 20 professional brass players and drummers. Trumpets, trombones, sousaphone, and drums. The band varies in size from a 4-piece to a 6-piece, depending on the event.
Not your typical function band, they play hip-hop, drum and bass, reggae, Mariachi, New Orleans Jazz, Balkan and more. Music includes originals, (composed by Joel Cooper), and pop covers, including tracks by Taylor Swift, MC Hammer, Jennifer Lopez, Nero, Bob Marley, Mosca, Madness, Gorillaz, Faithless, Daft Punk, and Body Rockers.
The original band, (previously called Hot Botz Brass Band), was formed in 2010, following a busking tour of Europe, (10 capital cities in 30 days!). Since then they have performed at countless club venues, parties, and festivals around the UK, including Creamfields, Manchester International Festival, Parklife, Beatherder, the Edinburgh Festival, playing at the E4 venue with the ‘Tom Tom Crew’, and on Stephen. K. Amos’s live stand-up comedy show, (with dancing monkeys!).
In 2011 they brought out their first, self-titled album, (Hot Botz Brass Band – the band changed names to Brass Beats Collective in 2021). In July 2013, with a bigger, 6-piece band and guest MC, they released the single, ‘Tremor’, premiering it at the Beatherder Festival. They released the single, ‘Free yourself’, (featuring Kathryn Pemberton), in June 2015, and ‘Right Through You’, was released on New Years Day, 2021, (featuring Karmic Evolution). They will be recording an exciting new ‘street brass’ originals album in 2027, as well as their ‘Beer Band Series’ Bavarian-style album, (complete with duck whistle!).

Brass Beats Collective were shortlisted for BBC Radio 1’s live lounge competition 2021, and have had tracks broadcast on many radio stations worldwide, including being awarded ‘Artist of the week’ by BBC Introducing Suffolk and Norfolk!
PLEASE NOTE: The Brass Beats Collective can perform all acoustically, (no electricity needed), for small to medium venues. Larger venues will require power sockets and a sound system, (to be discussed when booking). Shelter will be needed, if performing outside, to protect performers and their instruments from the elements.
