Biography: Bianca Blezard

Bianca has been playing the violin since 1994, and in 2001 began lessons with Roger Coull of the Coull Quartet. She was a member of the highly reputed Northamptonshire County Youth Orchestra for four years, with whom she performed in concert venues throughout Europe and the UK, including The Royal Albert Hall, The Royal Festival Hall and Symphony Hall.

She has also played in many chamber ensembles and other orchestras under the direction of Colin Touchin and Helen Deakin, and was a member of the pit band for a production of Fiddler on the Roof with the Coventry Youth Opera Group. She began her quartet playing in 2005 as a member of the Toscana quartet, performing at private functions in and around the Midlands, and as an ensemble they were placed third in the National Festival of Music for Youth 2006.

She now studies under the tutelage of Benedict Holland in her second year at the Royal Northern College of Music.
